Yesterday was my 25 week mark. So excited! I still feel like it’s early in the pregnancy… I don’t know when it will finally hit me that I’m a good ways past the halfway point by now. I guess my family coming into town and telling me that I still look tiny didn’t help. I mean, that’s great that I’m not looking too big for my week, but being told I’m tiny makes me feel like I’m not far along. Does that make sense?
So, this week the insomnia has still been going strong. My legs still feel like they are on fire while I sleep at night, and I am peeing every 2-3 hours on the dot. We’ve been trying to get our house ready to have some Realtors come tell us what they think about it (yes, that’s right, we are going to try and sell our house while I’m at 25 weeks! That sure does make me feel like I’m further along.. ;)) and my feet just can’t handle this extra weight. I know it’s only about 16 pounds so far, and that I’ve got plenty more to go, but two-three hours on my feet and they hurt so bad that I can no longer stand up. I have a feeling this house selling thing is going to be tough. Not as tough as trying to sell the house with a one year old though, like our original plan. Only time will tell!
I know there are other things to discuss, but my brain is fried this week. I’m going to go continue to clean and make this place presentable before the Realtor gets here tonight.
Here is my belly! I remembered to take a picture, but I did take it a day late. I can tell that it looks a lot bigger this week than last week. What do you guys think? The picture looks a little blurry… I’ve been having a lot of problems with my Iphone lately, so I’ll just blame that.
you look very pregnant!! how can your family say that!!! aaah your bump looks big to me!! I cant believe your going to sell your house though!! if we ever fall pregnant we will have to move too, but still renting for the time being! Hope you get some sleep soon 🙂 x
Thanks! I hope so too! I get kind of zombified after a few days of bad sleep.
We just met with the first Realtor (we will meet with two) and he is all pumped up and ready to go. Even wants to have a guy come in and paint our bathroom for free…. even though I think the bathroom is gorgeous. 😉 This should be an interesting time for us!
I hope you get to move SOON!!! 😉
You definitely look bigger! And one thing that made me feel good about myself was reading that “women with a strong core/abdominals will not pop out as quickly/big as women with no core strength.” so just think of yourself as one fit momma!
And… with only 9 weeks left to go, I still feel like I am in early pregnancy. Denial.
haha…. I’m not sure I’ve ever had a strong core. I like that people might think that though… 😉
Glad to know I’m not the only one thinking that I’m still so early in the game. I felt like once I hit 20 I’d be feeling stressed about everything, but I’m still like “oh, I may have 16 weeks…. lalala.”
You are about the same size I was and I toooootally get the “you’re so tiny” comment and how it’s nice but kinda weird at the same time. I want to look 7 months pregnant. I go get groceries or am out in public and its like no one can tell! Lol
Blurry or not, you’re still looking good there Momma! It’s not the size of the bump that counts, but how cozy you make it. 🙂 Best of luck selling the house.
Thank you! It’s already on the market… less than a week after making the decision. Insanity!
I heard about burying an upside down figurine of St. Joseph on your home’s premises; for some reason, it helps!! My house was on the market for almost 3 weeks when I got a serious offer from a most patient lady.
Did I already say ‘congrats!!” And it’s a girl!?!
That’s great! Three weeks would be perfect! (Or less ;))
I’ve heard of the St. Joseph thing. If we don’t have any luck we’ll have to give it a whirl.
Yes it is a girl and thanks!!
